St. Andrew’s Village is set in beautiful park like grounds in the suburb of Glendowie. They offer a wide range of facilities, including palliative care, respite care, memory care, retirement villages and other forms of specialty aged care.
The Project.
In an effort to allow residents more independence while enjoying the security of full residential aged care services, the first stage of 21 purpose-designed apartments in the Care Suites were created. The Care Suites offer a unique hybrid care model, combining both Rest Home and Hospital levels of care. Vendella were honoured to be chosen to supply bedding for the new suites.
The Care Suites have a modern interior design resembling a stylish hotel. This fresh and sleek appearance is paired with a thoughtful design that is appropriate for the residents using the facilities. A distinguishing feature is the peace of mind offered to residents. They can remain in the same suite throughout their life’s journey, even if their required level of care changes from Rest Home to Hospital. This eliminates the stress of needing to relocate apartments. The goal is to provide continuity and a strong sense of belonging for residents. This ensures that residents truly feel at home while staying at St. Andrew’s Care Suites.
