The Surrey Hotel Auckland is a business hotel conveniently located just a five-minute drive from the city’s Central Business District (CBD) and within walking distance to popular attractions such as Eden Park, MOTAT, Western Springs, Auckland Zoo, and the vibrant cafes of Ponsonby Road. Offering a range of affordable accommodation options, the hotel complex includes 50 superior and deluxe rooms, as well as 7 self-contained one-bedroom units, each with the choice of a balcony or courtyard. Additionally, across Great North Road, the recently renovated studio unit complex features 18 studio rooms, ideal for both short and long-term stays. The Surrey Hotel also boasts The Surrey Pub, an indoor pool, spa, and gym, all set within a charming English-themed decor filled with antiques and memorabilia. The unique blend of traditional English charm and informal Kiwi hospitality ensures a delightful and comfortable stay for both corporate and leisure travelers.
The Project.
The Surrey Hotel was undergoing a two phase refurbishment project which included a full refurbishment of the one and two bedroom apartments and routine mattress replacement for the hotel. They approached Vendella during the planning stages of this project.
