When I first joined Vendella, I was motivated by the values which align with mine, the positivity and growth is what I love about Vendella!

My role is to ensure the Sales and Customer Support teams have everything they need to be successful in their roles for the best outcomes for our customers!

I am inspired to get out of bed each morning to learn new things and grow!

Outside of work, I enjoy being with my family, camping and enjoying the outdoors!

I love working at Vendella because our great culture and positive team environment.

I work in sales support, working with our sales reps to help our customers find the best solutions to fit their needs.

The opportunity to contribute to Vendella’s journey and growth inspires me to get out of bed every morning. Knowing I can make a difference keeps me motivated and excited for each day.

My hobbies are anything practical, weather that be landscaping, tiling bathroom or doing up an old motorbike. I like fitness and socialising with friends and family. What I don’t like is tomato sauce or gherkins.

I love working at Vendella because of the team! Everyone is so friendly and helpful no matter if it’s with work or personal life. It feels like family already!

Here at Vendella I am the bubbly person on the end of the phone helping with any inquires and placing orders.

What gets me out of bed in the morning? I would say getting to come to work with a lovely bunch of people who all share one goal.

I love spending time with my young nieces and nephew, playing sports and going on adventures with friends.

At Vendella I love the chill and friendly atmosphere.

Currently I work with the Customer Care team, responding to customer emails, taking calls and processing sales orders. In 2025 I am moving into a Sales Support role, where I will support our Client Relations team.

What gets me out of bed in the morning? I love carrying out my daily routine, getting things done and being productive, plus seeing and socialising with others.

One of my main hobbies is photography. I am currently working on my photography skills, setting up a website and taking photos outside of work as much as possible.

Vendella has a great culture, all the employees are friendly and happy to be at work. The people are passionate about what they do which makes for a positive working environment.

I am the Finance Manager so it is my job to ensure we have accurate data and reporting. I may not be directly involved in interactions with customers but as a Finance Manager, ensuring accurate data and reporting directly contributes to customer satisfaction and the overall success of the organisation.

What inspires me to get out of bed in the morning? Normally my alarm or my dog wanting her breakfast.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending my time with my family and my dog!

I love the warm welcome from Vendella and meeting everyone. Everyone in the team is awesome and really very helpful. It is like a family with a very strong support system and they make me feel I belong.

In my position I assist in processing orders on-time, updating account details and providing support to the Sales Team.

My mother always tells me to work hard and to do my best at work. I’m excited to learn new things every day and hoping to stay with Vendella for a very long time.

In my spare time I like to go on road trips on my motorbike and I love to read. I love playing with kids and be a kid myself.

Vendella gives me the opportunity to learn alongside a great team of people. The team is full of passionate, happy people always willing to do what’s best for both our internal and external customers.

Here at Vendella I help Kathy with the purchasing of stock, ensuring we can supply our customers with a range of great quality products at an affordable price.

Outside of work I enjoy cooking and spending time in the sun, along with a spot of online shopping. Going to see my family in the Manawatu and visiting the unseen sights of NZ, is where I spend my holidays.

What I love about Vendella is the team I get to work with, in a supportive friendly environment where we all strive to achieve the best outcomes for our clients and each other.

At Vendella my role is Sales Support. This includes supporting the Sales Representatives (Crawford, Glenn and Jim) by answering customer queries in a timely manner and working behind the scenes to allow the Sales Representatives to show and discuss our quality products and service with our amazing clients.

What gets me out of bed in the morning? Having the opportunity to work with a friendly team, where no two days are the same!

Outside of work I like to spend my time with my family which includes my 2 beautiful nephews and my 3 fur babies. I have an indoor plant obsession and spend my free time looking after them and growing my collection. I also enjoy cooking and am always putting together my own recipes to experiment with.

What I love working at Vendella are the constant opportunities to grow, upskill and while being surrounded by an awesome team!

My role as the sales team leader is to assist our client relations team helping our clients create an exceptional guest experience!

Every day is an opportunity to learn and grow, and getting out of bed makes that much easier!

Outside of work I love to fish, surf, and explore all the great things New Zealand has to offer with my wife.

What I like about Vendella is the customer service commitment and quality product offerings, “You look after the guest, let us take care of the rest” really says it all! The Vendella team has a great company culture to work with!

My role is to assist clients in finding product solutions to their Hotel Guest requirements and provide awareness on sustainable product options. With products that are second to none I love seeing customers take their Guest comfort to new heights!

What inspires me to get out of bed every day, is understanding that it is not just another day, but a new opportunity to hit goals and support my family.

When not at Vendella, you’ll find me getting stuck into a home project or getting out and about seeing the Australian countryside with my wife & kids.

My role is Sales Support. I help the Sales Team to coordinate and manage customer accounts, providing outstanding customer service and making sure everything runs smoothly and in a timely manner.

Every morning, I wake up thinking about the new possibilities of learning something new and keep progressing in my career.

I’m a dance instructor, I go out to social dancing regularly and enjoy spending time with my friends and my dog.

At Vendella we have a set of core values which not only relates to working within the company but also to our customers, suppliers and contractors.

I am part of the on road sales team which enables me to visit all levels of our clients. In doing so I can much better understand their goals and pains which in turn allows me to discuss, consider and offer product advice so the can offer their guests a better stay experience.

For work there is always a to do list for the day. Get stuck in, tick them off, so my customers can move on to other priorities in their business.

I don’t mind a lazy sleep in from time to time but not for long. Getting up early on a nice clear morning, staring out to nowhere with a coffee in hand is something I quite like to do.

I love classic american cars. Often at the local events and have been going to Beach Hop for about 20 years. I will eat chicken anywhere, cooked anyhow and any time. Lastly, I really dislike littering and people who park in mobility carparks who shouldn’t.

What I enjoy most about working at Vendella is the opportunity to make a difference and constant improvement mindset of the team

My role in sales includes introducing new clients to our solutions mindset and maintaining the existing Vendella fan club!

What inspires me to get out of bed in the morning? The lure of opportunities is my no. 1 motivation in life.

Outside of work I am unashamedly a DIY guy and love the challenge of problem solving then persisting until the said object is functional again 🔧

The friendly, positive and passionate environment that the team create, is what I love about Vendella!

My role is to assist Mike and Luke in their roles – so includes a bit of everything which I enjoy.

I am very much intrinsically motivated so getting out of bed in the morning is easy when there’s a new challenge to face and the sun is shining!

Hobbies would have to be cooking – especially for my friends and family, and I love getting outdoors.

I’ve travelled everywhere across New Zealand since joining Vendella in 2015, visiting many hotels, motels, holiday parks and lodges. The saying goes …  If you love what you do, you never have to work another day! That’s me.

What don’t our customers know about me? Too right! I love a good pillow fight with the kids!

My role at Vendella is a Procurement and Product Development Team Leader. In this role, I ensure the procurement team source the best materials and develop high quality sustainable products. By carefully selecting suppliers and overseeing product development, me and my team help our customers achieve great results every day.

Knowing that each day brings new opportunities to solve problems, innovate, and contribute to our company’s success motivates me to start my day with passion and purpose.

One thing our customers might not know me is I do have a strong passion for volunteer work in ethnic communities. I enjoy giving back and making a positive impact through all different work and events to promote our cultural diversity and inclusivity.

Outside of work I really enjoy tramping and exploring the awesome New Zealand high country.

What do I love about Vendella? The Great Team we have caring for a wide range of Accommodation venues.

I care for all New Zealand and foreign payments which make our finance team land great products at competitive prices.

What gets me out of bed in the morning? Well… early to bed, early to rise, makes a man Healthy, Wealthy, and Wise.

I enjoy spending time with family and friends, and, I’m not really that keen on mushrooms.

I love working with the team here at Vendella! I commute most days from Oamaru so its awesome to turn up, to work with a passionate, hardworking but fun-loving team.

At Vendella I work with the marketing team creating content and designing collateral. I aim to showcase the benefits of dealing with Vendella, the awesome products we have in stock and inspiring customers to give their guests the ‘best rest’.

In my previous job I was a travelling salesperson, so here at Vendella I am excited to come each day, to learn new design skills, let my creative side run a bit wild, and create some epic content!

Outside of work I love travelling with my wife, finding hidden gems off the beaten track and giving other people FOMO! I enjoy food – not only eating it and trying new things but I love hosting small dinner parties with friends and family.

What I love about Vendella is that I’m part of a winning team. At Vendella we have a strong work ethic of winning, which is not always about ‘coming 1st‘ but better defined as striving to get ahead.

I love working alongside a bunch of great people who are truly passionate about getting ahead at work and at home which is very infectious!

My role at Vendella has 2 parts; Firstly; To make sure each part of the company is moving in sync so everyone can do their bit to help the customer without anything slowing them down.

Secondly; The other side to my role is strategy. I spend a good part of my day planning 6 months, 1 year, 3 years ahead, trying to understand how global trends will affect our industry and how we can best answer your needs today, tomorrow and beyond.

What inspires me to get out of bed every morning? If it’s the weekend, it’s my wife & three energetic daughters but on week mornings it’s seeing the company progress and our team getting ahead which ignites my fire because my motto is ‘What am I going to do today to make the company better than it was yesterday”

Other than that, I am a pretty calm type, I’m a fan of a classic barbeque and have a soft spot for getting out amongst nature.

As part of the Sales team, I am based out of Melbourne, assessing client needs and delivering the best possible solutions.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with family, travelling to new places, and exploring some of the best cafes in town!

What I like most about working for Vendella is the opportunities it provides me. Mostly in the space of helping people and improving people’s lives.

What gets me out of bed? Seeing the team develop and (with my owner hat on) knowing I have the ability to help them with their learnings, goals and aspirations. And that I can help support them with their schemes and dreams outside of work too. ‘Creating winners” is a catchphrase I use! 😊

I work in sales, helping our clients. What I enjoy most about that are the face to face meetings, getting in touch with the clients themselves at their properties, or through phone calls understanding their needs and providing the best solution for them. What you don’t know about me….my spilt personality! During my work week I need as much social company as I can get and on the weekend I get as far away from civilisation as possible with my wife and two daughters.

I love that we are passionate about continual growth! Our team is never satisfied with what we did last week, month or year and we look continuously at how we can improve everything we do. We encourage everyone one of our team to have input and put forward ideas on improving any department of the business

Most of my time is working on how we can better serve our customers and grow our customer base. Making a positive difference in people’s lives is what inspires me. Regularly the feedback is heard “you make my life so much easier”. This is what spurs me on.

Outside of work, we have a young son (Louis) who keeps me busy and if it’s not playing ball, biking, or exploring the wonderful country we live in then it’s normally a house project of sorts. A few other interests are, reading, history, travel and community and charity support.

Every morning I grab my morning coffee and join this passionate and dedicated team in their efforts to provide customers with outstanding service. I love the family environment where everybody is appreciated and rewarded for their efforts and continuous improvement is part of every single day.

Here at Vendella, I am privileged to be part of the Customer Care Team, which means I get the opportunity to help our customers over the phone and be a part of finding solutions to their needs.

When I am not here at work, you will find me swimming or biking, spending time with family, or enjoying some NZ beauty somewhere (My sister and I are big fans of road-trippin’).

My role as a purchasing assistant allows me to source and order our quality products for each of our customers to enjoy.

I am inspired to get out of the bed as each day comes with new challenges and is totally different to the day before, allowing me to upskill and grow.

Outside of work I am either focusing on playing or recording music, or fishing our great rivers here in the South Island!

Having worked in a family business for the past decade, it’s important for me to be surrounded by people who share a common goal. The team at Vendella hold many of the same values and ethics that I hold dear; it’s fantastic to spend each day as a part of their team.

A rugby tragic, I can still be found on occasion thundering around the pitches of South-East Queensland. In the capacity of either Prop, Coach or Referee, I’m usually being far louder than most people would want me to be. Off the field, I love an adventure with my fiancée and kids; even more so if there are donuts involved.

At Vendella it seems to be an ever-changing scene, which keeps you on your toes! I have been here for a few years now, and it is great to see our how our team has grown and now that we are located in Australia as well now, this is pretty exciting.

As the Sales & Marketing Assistant I help with case studies, photo shoots, I make up the chocolate envelopes for our Sales Reps to take with them on their trips, along with many other tasks to help both sales and marketing with whatever they need.

How do I get out of bed in the morning? Coming to work each day and knowing that I will be able to help one of my team is always an incentive!

Getting out and being with family and friends is something that I always enjoy doing. We have family in New Zealand, and also in Sydney and Perth, so travel is aways on the cards.

What I love about Vendella is the opportunity that each day brings to learn, collaborate with the team and make a difference.

Being part of the marketing team, it’s our job to connect with customers and potential customers to showcase our range, eliciting the “need” to indulge in retail therapy!

I am inspired to get out of bed by the potential that each day brings to add value, to learn something new and get better at what I do.

Having recently done a renovation, we are busy putting the house back together and making it our dream space. Otherwise my time is spent being a taxi to my 10 year old daughter, spending sunny days at the beach and trying to get back into a fitness routine!
